According to CoinMeta, online detective ZachXBT criticized XRP Ledger Foundation for offering only a bounty of $250,000 for vulnerabilities, stating that this amount is not sufficient to motivate white-hat hackers to report such issues. XRP Ledger Foundation confirmed that the relevant vulnerability could theoretically bypass the XRP total supply limit, but no additional XRP were found to have been created. The vulnerability has since been fixed in version 3.4.1.
