According to CoinMeta, British authorities have frozen an apartment in London that overlooks Buckingham Palace, which belongs to Thet Li, the suspected financial director of the Prince Group. Litt purchased the apartment for 8.9 million pounds in 2022. After an investigation by the Foreign Office, British authorities issued a freeze order on its land registration records. In October 2025, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Litt, calling him a "de facto illegal chief financial officer" involved in "cash smuggling and money laundering." In March, the UK imposed sanctions on him under global human rights regulations, accusing him of connections with the Prince Group and its chairman, Chen Zhi, whose fraud center in Cambodia is accused of forcing workers to engage in forced labor and subjecting them to cruel treatment. The freeze order also covers a mansion worth 12 million pounds located in St. John's Wood and an office building worth 100 million pounds in London. Litt's watches and jewelry, estimated to be worth 10.6 million pounds, will also continue to be seized.
