AGNTCon: October identity integration confirms that identity priority serves as the default trust architecture

According to CoinMeta, identity-first verification has become the default trust architecture for proxy stacks. As the industry continues to shape the control plane of proxy infrastructure, identity integration in October is no longer just theory but reality. At the AGNTCon + MCPCon North American official event held on October 22-23 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, it was expected that there would be over 3,500 attendees, more than 1,000 organizations, and over 150 presentations. Industry consensus has shifted towards identity-first design. Data from Pymnts shows that 93% of merchants believe that AI or proxy providers should bear the financial losses in case of incorrect proxy purchases, but only 28% of merchants are willing to offer a full range of products under current terms. Since merchants are currently unwilling to bear the financial losses caused by proxy-related errors, the industry has begun to prioritize identity, intent, and signals over settlement.
