2026-10-12 20:01:09
According to CoinMeta, as disclosed on the official website of the French National Assembly, the Finance Committee recently passed several budget amendments for 2027 related to crypto assets. These include plans to include crypto assets in the scope of exit taxes starting from 2027, as well as requiring taxpayers whose total value of crypto assets in custodial wallets reaches 100,000 euros or more by the end of the year to declare them voluntarily. Failure to declare could result in a fine of up to 10,000 euros. The amendments also involve taxation on stablecoin exchanges and allow crypto asset losses to be deducted from earnings over the next 10 years. The aforementioned measures are still in the budget legislative process and have not yet taken formal effect.
