2026-10-13 00:34:57
CoinMeta data: In its latest update, Ledger stated that all 87 million USD of losses related to Cryptobilis confirmed to have occurred involving devices sold through that reseller, and that its own systems and direct sales channels were not affected. Ledger also mentioned that the number of affected devices is limited and that they are cooperating with relevant authorities to contact the affected users. Cryptobilis has confirmed the suspension of all hardware wallet sales. Ledger began an investigation last Friday due to reports from Southeast Asian users of financial losses on their purchased devices. On-chain investigators Specter have traced over 86 million USD in suspicious theft incidents involving Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin. Ledger has not yet confirmed this figure or the cause of the losses. Investigators Yfarmx stated that they have submitted a list of over 450 stolen wallets to Ledger.
