CoinMeta data: Bitcoin has fluctuated by $3,000 in the past 24 hours, falling to around $81,000 in the early session before rebounding to near $84,000, and is currently trading at around $83,500. Meanwhile, other cryptocurrencies are not performing well. ZEC has fallen by nearly 8% to around $1,210, HYPE has dropped by nearly 6% to around $82, SOL and DOGE have each fallen by 4%, and XRP has fallen by about 3% to $1.36. Ethereum and BNB have seen declines of between 1% and 2%. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index has dropped to 57, still in the “greedy” zone, but at its lowest level since September 18. Selling pressure from chip manufacturers continues, with NASDAQ 100 futures falling by 0.5%. Exchange-traded funds that track chip stocks are facing losses for the sixth consecutive trading day, and traders are questioning whether the spending on AI can continue. JPMorgan Chase fell by more than 2% after the opening, while Europe’s Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.4%, benefiting from declining oil prices and bond yields. Thursday’s U.S. inflation data will be the next major test for both markets.
