According to CoinMeta, as reported by Eleanor Terrett, at today's press conference, Jonathan Gould stated that reviews of the nine major state-owned banks across the country revealed that these banks have, to varying degrees, adopted reputational risk policies that allow political considerations, public opinion, and social pressure to influence their decisions regarding access to financial services. The coal and firearms industries are among those most severely affected. The report also mentioned crypto enterprises and called on Congress to prevent politically motivated debanking actions.
