According to CoinMeta, Amazon has launched two wearable devices that utilize artificial intelligence to record and analyze users' daily activities. This is the latest move by the company to try and reshape its product line and compete in the rapidly growing artificial intelligence hardware market, one year after acquiring the startup Bee. Amazon released the Bee Frontier on Thursday, which costs $75. It is an upgraded version of the original smart band, featuring a lighter weight, smaller size, and water resistance. Like the older model, which costs $50, the new device can record users' activities throughout the day and transcribe them into text, summarize conversation content in the accompanying app, and automatically generate to-do lists. The product is available in three colors: lavender purple, sage green, and agate black, and has a battery life of up to seven days. It is currently available for order in the United States. The second new product, Bee Eclipse, is similar to the devices launched by competitor Plaud and features a card-style design that can be magnetically attached to the back of a phone, allowing it to be carried around easily as well.
