300 million DOGE coins transferred to Binance, attracting market attention
2026-10-16 00:08:01
According to CoinMeta, as reported by U.Today, on October 15th, a large dogecoin holder transferred 300 million DOGE to Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, for a transaction amount of approximately $24.1 million. At that time, the trading price of DOGE was around $0.0803. Despite this transfer occurring during a continuous market downturn, market participants paid attention to this activity, especially the trading behavior of large holders. Although such transfers do not necessarily indicate that the holder or sender intends to sell the tokens, they are generally seen as potential attempts at selling off holdings. In any case, this transfer may temporarily increase the number of DOGE available for sale on the exchange, which is not optimistic for the price prospects of DOGE.
