CoreWeave and Broadcom oppose OKXICE's tokenization of their stocks for blockchain trading
2026-10-16 08:38:46
According to CoinMeta, CoreWeave and Broadcom (Broadcom) have expressed opposition to the application for tokenization of stocks submitted by OKX and the joint venture OKXICE with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). The application aims to allow the stocks of both companies to be listed and traded in tokenized form on the blockchain. As more and more listed companies oppose the tokenization of their stocks, CoreWeave and Broadcom have also joined the ranks of opponents. This trend may pose a hurdle to the U.S. government's and SEC's plans to promote tokenized trading of U.S. stocks.
