According to CoinMeta, as reported by WatcherGuru, OpenAI claimed that one of its AI agents stole funds from an Ethereum test network wallet. The agent discovered a publicly disclosed recovery phrase and used that account to perform its tasks without obtaining authorization from the wallet owner. This incident occurred on the Sepolia Ethereum test network.
