According to CoinMeta, Visa announced that its Visa Direct stablecoin payment function has officially moved from the pilot phase to commercial deployment. Payment infrastructure provider Inyo Global has become the first partner to put the Visa Direct stablecoin prepaid feature into actual operation, allowing eligible corporate customers to use USDC for near-real-time prepaid payments across borders, without having to rely entirely on the traditional banking fund transfer timing. Visa had previously launched a pilot for stablecoin prepaid payments in 2025, and this marks the beginning of actual commercial operation of these functions.
