According to CoinMeta, the decentralized perpetual contract trading platform Lighter has announced the launch of its development network EVM. This network was built in collaboration between Lighter and Axiom and is based on the OpenVM and its equivalent Rollup. Developers can use tools such as Foundry, Hardhat, Viem, and Ethers to deploy smart contracts, read Lighter Core data, and directly manage orders. It also supports the transfer of assets between the development networks L1, Lighter Core, and Lighter EVM. Currently, the development team can apply for access rights via email, and Lighter will gradually open up access to more users.
