CoinMeta Data: According to digitaltoday, the research institution Toss Insight under the Korean fintech platform Toss has released a report titled "DEFI and Tokenized Assets: The Connection between Traditional Finance and On-Chain Finance." The report states that as of early September 2026, the global tokenized assets market was valued at approximately $39.1 billion, with U.S. Treasury bonds, money market funds (MMF), and corporate loans, which are income-generating products, accounting for about 61% of the market. The report suggests that the current tokenized market is primarily driven by financial assets that generate interest income or can be used as collateral. Additionally, some tokenized U.S. stock products do not grant investors actual ownership of the stocks; instead, they provide income tokens linked to stock price fluctuations. These tokenized Treasury bonds and funds may also have restrictions on investor eligibility.
