2026-10-17 19:40:38
According to CoinMeta, an on-chain analyst specter pointed out that since on-chain investigator zachxbt revealed that Bitget attackers were using the privacy coin Zcash ( ZEC ) to hide stolen assets, it has been observed that more and more hackers are transferring the illicit funds to ZEC for money laundering. This includes funds involved in the Cryptobills Ledger supply chain attack incident as well as the $12 million theft case Triple-A. Hacker groups are currently actively taking advantage of the privacy protection features of Zcash to transfer and launder stolen assets, so users and institutions need to raise their awareness of prevention.
