Jeff Yan: The US should focus blockchain regulation on the application layer
2026-10-18 18:06:57

They suggest that regulatory responsibilities should be placed at the application layer rather than the network layer, in order to facilitate the entry of hyperliquid into the Wall Street market. He stated that hyperliquid is not yet open to American customers and is positioned to provide underlying transaction technology for traditional financial institutions, rather than to replace existing market participants.
