According to CoinMeta, ENS DAO is conducting an on-chain vote regarding the activation proposal for the ENSv2 mainnet. If the proposal passes, new registrations for version V1 will be frozen, and it will become possible to renew domains that have not been migrated. After the upgrade, ENSv2 will allow owners to customize their subdomain registries and grant resolution rights. ENS Labs will be managed by ENS DAO. Existing domains can continue to be used, but migration is voluntary and irreversible, with the proceeds going into the ENS fund. So far, 6 addresses have voted with 531,300 ENS, representing a support rate of nearly 100%. The voting will end at 13:32 on October 25th (UTC +8).
