According to CoinMeta, the cryptocurrency exchange MEXC announced that, in compliance with global regulatory requirements, it will cease services to users in Russia and Belarus. Affected users will receive individual notifications detailing the schedule and process for closing positions and withdrawing assets. Users who have not received such notifications will not be affected and can continue to use the service in accordance with the terms of service. MEXC assured users about the safety of their assets and reminded them to be wary of phishing links and accounts impersonating theirs. The platform will not request payments or transfers via private messages, nor will it ask for account credentials or mnemonic phrases.
