Darkfost: Binance Stablecoin Reserves Drop to Lowest Level in Nearly a Year
2026-10-21 17:03:08
CoinMeta data: Crypto analyst Darkfost indicates that the current stablecoin reserves of Binance are around $41.6 billion, falling back to the levels seen at the beginning of October 2025. Since April 2026, stablecoin reserves have decreased by approximately $6.3 billion, with a market value change of about -4.7% over the past 90 days, and an average monthly net outflow of stablecoins amounting to around $62 million. During the same period, the stablecoin reserves of Bybit, Coinbase Advanced, and OKX decreased by about $2.3 billion, $2.5 billion, and $2.4 billion respectively. Binance currently holds over 70% of the total stablecoin reserves across all exchanges. Darkfost believes that the decline in exchange stablecoin liquidity reflects investors' cautiousness towards increasing their exposure to crypto assets, with some funds shifting to other platforms to seek returns.
