According to CoinMeta, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the launch of a modular AI factory reference design DSX POD at the GTC conference held in Berlin, Germany, with plans to deliver it globally through partners in early 2027. This approach shifts tasks such as computing, networking, cabling, rack power supply, liquid cooling system installation, and functional verification to the factory in advance, allowing DSX POD to reduce the infrastructure deployment cycle from about 6 months using traditional methods to as short as 14 days. NVIDIA stated that the AI factory can only create value once it begins to produce token. The goal is to shorten the time from when the infrastructure is ready on-site to when it starts running production-level AI workloads, enabling operators to start generating revenue sooner.
