According to CoinMeta, on Wednesday evening, the Trump administration informed the judge that the construction of the controversial 250-foot-tall “Arc de Triomphe” proposed by Trump could begin as soon as two weeks later—i.e., a few days after the mid-term elections. In court documents submitted on Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice stated that the National Capital Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on November 5th, at which time they may approve the final design for the “Arc de Triomphe.” If it also receives final authorization from the Department of the Interior, the project “could begin as early as November 5, 2026.”
