According to CoinMeta, the Starknet community supported research on an independent quantum-resistant blockchain layer, with 93.52% of the voting rights in favor of the proposal. The voting lasted for seven days. As per the official governance proposal, this non-binding vote concluded on October 22nd and attracted approximately 3,200 votes, providing support from the communities of the Starkware and Starknet foundations to investigate the proposed transition without authorizing a departure from Ethereum. This vote recorded the highest participation rate in the history of network governance.
