According to CoinMeta, in its third-quarter financial report, Meta revealed that since the launch of its personal AI agent Muse about 6 weeks ago, it has attracted over 10 million users to create accounts in the United States and Canada, with approximately 25% of registered users using it daily. Shopping has become the most popular activity; more than a quarter of weekly active users use Muse for shopping, with an average order value of over $200. In the first week of its launch, transaction volume exceeded expectations, prompting Meta to contact Stripe to increase payment limits. Zuckerberg believes that in the future, each user's annual income from Muse is expected to exceed the combined level of revenue from Facebook, Instagram, and other applications under Meta. Currently, these applications generate hundreds of dollars in annual revenue per American user. Meta plans to make Muse available to most people for free, charging merchants a transaction fee, as well as fees through advanced models and corporate subscriptions. In the third quarter, revenue amounted to $64.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26%, while capital expenditures were $34.9 billion, resulting in free cash flow shifting from a positive $10.6 billion to a negative $2.1 billion. Zuckerberg acknowledged that Muse consumes a large amount of computing power and has not yet turned a profit, but expects to improve computational efficiency by more than ten times in the coming year.
