According to CoinMeta, Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX has released an update stating that due to a security incident in July 2025, some recharge addresses have been deactivated, yet some users continue to transfer assets to these expired addresses. CoinDCX was originally responsible for regularly collecting such funds, but the relevant process became ineffective for a period of time. This issue was discovered this morning, resulting in operational losses for the platform, and CoinDCX will bear the associated losses.
