According to CoinMeta, digital asset management company CMCC Global announced a collaboration with Tether and Bitfinex Securities to tokenize their funds Crest Fund and Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund (as well as LBAF). These two funds will become some of the first tokenized funds issued under El Salvador’s digital assets legal framework, utilizing Tether’s Hadron platform for issuance and trading through Bitfinex Securities. Crest Fund is denominated in US dollars and aims for a return rate higher than that of short-term US Treasury bonds, while LBAF is denominated in Bitcoin with a target annualized net return rate of 8% to 12%. The listed digital asset finance company BTCS S.A. plans to invest a three-digit amount of Bitcoin as a cornerstone investor, although the specific amount has not been disclosed. Subscription for both offerings is now open until October 30th, with issue prices of $10 per Crest and 0.0001 BTC per LBAF, respectively, with a minimum subscription of one token for each.
