Citrini and Claude collaborate on scorpion venom research to explore new investment opportunities

According to CoinMeta, the Citrini research institution collaborated with Anthropic to have Claude attempt to design antiscorpion venom proteins, with the aim of finding new investment opportunities. Citrini has been paying attention to the life sciences sector since June this year and released the "2028 Global Intelligence Crisis" report in February, envisioning that AI will replace white-collar workers on a large scale, leading to an economic recession. The team used Claude to generate approximately 320,000 protein designs, screened out 180 candidates, and ultimately 17 proteins were able to bind to the target scorpion venom. Citrini found that as AI accelerates drug design, more candidate molecules need to be sent to laboratories for synthesis, testing, and verification; therefore, there is optimism for companies that provide experimental outsourcing and testing equipment for pharmaceutical companies.
