According to CoinMeta, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stated that although several asset management companies have shown interest in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based on cryptocurrencies, no formal applications have been received yet. Thailand's new crypto framework has attracted the attention of asset managers, but regulatory authorities have not confirmed whether the first products will be approved before 2026. The SEC pointed out that the applicants' preparedness, regulatory reviews, and investor protection requirements will affect the timing of the product launches.
