According to CoinMeta, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited announced today (Friday) the launch of the Hong Kong Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index and the Hong Kong Exchange Semiconductor Index, authorizing Southern Fund to launch a fund in mainland China that tracks the Hong Kong Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index (ETF). The Hong Kong Exchange Semiconductor Index tracks the performance of 30 of the largest semiconductor-related companies listed in Hong Kong. These two newly launched indices further expand the index series independently compiled by the Hong Kong Exchange and provide investors with benchmarks to capture the opportunities brought about by the two major technology sectors of artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
