CoinMeta Data: The testnet for the next major upgrade, Dijkstra, of Cardano was launched on October 21st and is now open to all participants. It is encouraged that Stake Pool Operators ( SPOs ) start joining before version 11.2 and the hard fork to PV12. The current testnet is running on protocol version 11 ( Conway ) with node version 11.1.3. The Dijkstra testnet will introduce several new features to the Cardano network, including nested transactions, account enhancements, Guard scripts, Plutus V4, and freely extractable staking rewards. Node version 11.2 is expected to be released soon after, at which time a hard fork will take place.
