Galaxy Research: Bitcoin garbled inscriptions are for automated script testing
2026-10-25 20:22:00
According to CoinMeta, Galaxy Research pointed out that over the past three weeks, the Bitcoin network has seen approximately 40 inscriptions composed of random letters each day, and these contents are not cryptographic information. The study analyzed 562 such texts and found that the frequency of occurrence for each of the 26 English letters ranged between 3.6% and 4.2%, which is different from the distribution in normal English texts. The on-chain transaction behavior exhibits automated characteristics, with each transaction including an input address, a payout address, and an OP_return data output, with the longest transaction chain consisting of 86 transactions.
