Lightning Labs launches Wavelength, supporting AI proxy for autonomous payment
2026-10-25 23:48:42
According to CoinMeta, Lightning Labs offers Wavelength to users, and AI agents can independently send and receive funds on the Bitcoin mainnet through Lightning Network and L402. AI agents can pay for API call fees, purchase data, and trade with other agents, with individual fees as low as less than 1 cent. Developers do not need to run Lightning Network nodes, manage channels, or raise liquidity to integrate payment functionality. This toolkit supports independent on-chain exits, with an initial limit of 300,000聪 per wallet, and Lightning Network payments incur a 0.25% service fee. Wavelength is currently in the alpha phase, with plans to support stablecoins.
