According to CoinMeta, Tron DAO has released a new upgrade named GreatVoyage-v4.8.2.4. The team stated that this upgrade is mandatory and requires node operators to install it as soon as possible. This update is aimed at improving the stability of network operations, as well as enhancing smart contract storage and metadata processing. Tron performed exceptionally well in network fees over the past week, generating $5.556 million in revenue, which accounted for 32% of the total fees. In comparison, Solana earned $4.2 million, BNB $2.74 million, Ethereum $2.15 million, and Bitcoin $1.42 million. Tron founder Justin Sun plans to launch tokenized stocks and U.S. Treasury bonds in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the goal of providing global users with access to assets denominated in dollars.
