According to CoinMeta, BOSS's directly affiliated Nanbeige Laboratory has released an open-source model, nanbeige4.3-33b, which focuses on programming and office tasks. It supports a context size of up to 512k and uses the apache 2.0 license. Among the 20 tests published, nanbeige ranked first in 17 of them, with a score of 80.9. terminal-bench scored 80.9 as well, while its competitor qwen only managed 73.0; terminal-bench outperformed its rival by 65.5 points, with the latter scoring only 42.5. In the office automation test, automation also led with 54.2, far ahead of bench's 38.3. Previously, Nanbeige mainly developed small models of the 3b level. The previous generation, nanbeige4.2-3b, improved the model's effective computational depth by reusing transformer layers. This time, the team first trained a large 33b model, intending to use it as a "teacher," and then distilled capabilities such as programming and tool invocation into the upcoming nanbeige4.3-3b.
