According to CoinMeta, ByteDance has launched the "JiMeng Short Drama Studio" today, integrating screenwriting, character design, storyboarding, video generation, and post-production on a single platform. The script model dreamscript supports parsing novels of up to 100,000 words, continuously generating up to 100 episodes of scripts, and checking for plot conflicts and character settings. The storyboarding model dreamshot provides a 3D director's view, allowing for advance adjustment of camera angles and shots, and previewing the filming effects. After generation, if a particular shot is not satisfactory, it can be redone separately. The most suitable feature for short dramas to go global is "Remake and Redraw"; by uploading already filmed short dramas, AI will disassemble characters, scenes, props, and shots, and regenerate the images according to the target region, artistic style, and frame size, while trying to preserve the original drama's pacing and shot language. These related functions come from ByteDance's subsidiary, Xiao Yunque, which was merged into JiMeng on October 24th but still retains its independent entry point.
