According to CoinMeta, Microsoft's new AI system has an accuracy rate in diagnosing complex medical cases that is more than twice that of ordinary doctors, based on a study conducted on science.org. The study found that the system had an accuracy rate of 83% in 304 complex cases, compared to 36% for doctors; in emergency room cases, the system's accuracy rate was 80%, while doctors achieved 47%. The system works by asking questions, issuing test instructions, and gradually refining the diagnosis, much like a team of doctors. Microsoft now plans to test this technology in a real hospital environment in Boston.
