MEXC announced on September 8 the launch of a global market education project, Opportunity Compass, aimed at users who are exposed to both crypto assets and the stock market. The company cited an internal survey stating that 53.7% of surveyed crypto users have already invested in stocks, but many have limited understanding of the related products and how the markets operate.
Interviewed users have begun cross-market trading.
The company disclosed that this project is mainly aimed at the trend of encrypted users expanding towards traditional financial products. According to MEXC, stock investment is no longer an marginal option for many encrypted users; rather, it has become one of the common configurations within their accounts.
Survey data shows that among respondents who have never invested in stocks, 43.1% cited "lack of investment knowledge" as the main barrier. Among those who have invested in stocks but later withdrew, 48.3% also mentioned the same reason, indicating that users still face a comprehension hurdle even after entering the market.
AI and stock price fluctuations drive participation

Among the respondents who have already invested in stocks, 44% stated that fluctuations in individual stock prices influenced their investment decisions, while 34% mentioned that the AI craze was an important driving factor. Based on this, the article points out that this cross-market allocation is to some extent driven by popular themes and price trends.
The project consists of 30 episodes across five seasons.
The company disclosed that Opportunity Compass will be launched gradually from September to December 2026, divided into five seasons with a total of 30 episodes. The content will cover basic knowledge of global markets, major asset classes, interest rates and inflation, financial reports and industry cycles, as well as topics such as AI, semiconductors, tokenized assets, real-world assets, and predictive markets.
The final season of the project will focus on how to establish an independent market analysis and risk assessment framework. MEXC indicates that related content will be continuously published through a dedicated educational page.
Partners cover stablecoins and on-chain infrastructure
MEXC indicates that the partners involved in this project include PAYWARD's subsidiaries xStocks, Plume, Tether, Pyth, Optimism, CMT Digital, and RootData, covering areas such as tokenization, stablecoins, oracles, on-chain infrastructure, and market data.
MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade indicates that as users become exposed to more types of assets, simply providing a trading interface is no longer sufficient. The platform hopes to help users understand the driving factors of different markets through this initiative and enable them to assess opportunities and risks on their own.
Additional information:MEXC also mentions in the material that the platform currently offers products such as crypto assets, stocks, and tokenized assets, and continues to promote zero-commission trading as a selling point.
