Cleveland, September 28, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- As global enterprises move from the AI experimental phase to a large-scale, governed, agent-based automation phase, the organizations that will truly succeed will be those that can transform decades of unstructured content into AI reliable data and contextual foundations. This transformation requires a leader who can coordinate strategy, execution, and commercialization discipline around a single, unified growth engine.

Hyland is a global leader in driving enterprise-level content intelligence and automation. Today, the company announced the appointment of Michael Haugen as Senior Vice President of Content Innovation Cloud. In this new role, Haugen will be responsible for managing the business performance of the Hyland Content Innovation Cloud product portfolio comprehensively, including revenue and order signing, market entry strategies, as well as the long-term growth roadmap. Hyland will also take this opportunity to accelerate growth in the next phase.

Hyland Chief Revenue Officer Steve Baird stated: " Content Innovation Cloud is the engine that drives autonomous agency businesses, and the next phase of growth requires a leader who can combine our platform's differentiation with tailored commercialization strategies. The appointment of Michael comes at a critical moment of Hyland; we are expanding our lead in helping global enterprises achieve content intelligence, which is the foundation for truly realizing automation based on agencies."

Haugen indicates: "Global enterprises hold the most valuable assets, yet they are also the least understood. Those organizations that can transform this content into a governed foundation for AI will emerge victorious in the automation of enterprises over the next decade. Hyland has built trust as a trustworthy steward of global organizational content for over 30 years, and I am very eager to help lead the next phase of growth under Content Innovation Cloud."

Haugen has over 30 years of experience in driving growth, financial performance, and business transformation within technology and enterprise software organizations. Before joining Hyland, he worked at insightsoftware, where he served as the General Manager of the company's Global Enterprise Performance Management Suite business unit, responsible for the financial performance of that business, which amounted to 125 million US dollars.

Before joining insightsoftware, Haugen served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Planview's Americas region, leading teams responsible for sales, professional services, customer success, and renewal strategies.
