Solana accounted for 28% of the weekly tokenized spot trading volume of commodities, marking the first time that this network has ranked first among all the chains being tracked.
It is reported that Solana has for the first time become the blockchain network with the highest weekly spot trading volume of tokenized commodities, surpassing Robinhood in this process.
On all chains, the total weekly spot trading volume of tokenized commodities amounts to approximately $322.7 million.

Gold drives the growth of the Solana market
The increase in activity, denoted by Solana, has also been accompanied by a significant growth in the supply of tokenized commodities on this network. The supply reached a historical high of 50.5 million US dollars on August 25th and is currently around 45.6 million US dollars.
Data shows that gold-backed tokens still account for the majority of the supply of Solana tokenized commodities, but this market has begun to expand beyond gold into other categories.

Solana Reclaims the Leading Position in DEX Trading Volume
The momentum of Solana is not only reflected in the tokenization of commodities. Previously, Robinhood briefly topped the weekly spot DEX trading volume rankings 3 weeks ago; thereafter, Solana also reclaimed the first place. Its share has been rising since then, reaching 39% of the weekly spot DEX trading volume last week.
These data indicate that Solana's trading activities in tokenizing real-world assets as well as in the crypto-native market are seeing a broader resurgence.
