Rancho Cucumonga, California, September 29, 2026 / PRNewswire - HISPANIC PR WIRE / — On the occasion of World Heart Day, Inland Empire Health Plan ( IEHP ) announces the launch of a "30 Years of Joint Care" anniversary campaign to honor its thirty years of providing healthcare services centered on compassion. This campaign aims to celebrate the local partnerships that have made healthcare more accessible, safer, and of higher quality in the Inland Empire region.

IEHP began operations on September 1, 1996, providing services to 62,000 Medi-Cal members through a network of 650 medical professionals. Today, IEHP offers affordable medical insurance coverage to 1.4 million people – roughly one-third of the residents in the inland empire region – and has transformed the accessibility of healthcare by bringing resources directly into communities through vaccination clinics, child health check-ups, and telemedicine options.

IEHP CEO Jarrod McNaughton indicates:The initial innovative idea, aimed at ensuring that medical services continued to take root locally, has now developed into a vibrant community with over 1 million people who entrust their health to us. For this reason, on World Heart Day, we pay tribute to IEHP's long-standing commitment to serving those most affected by inequality, as empathy and a spirit of service have always been at our core.

30-day Promotion

The core of this anniversary event is the “IEHP 30 for 30” challenge. This is a health initiative aimed at the entire community, encouraging partners, medical professionals, community collaboration organizations, team members, and residents of the inland empire region to engage in 30 minutes of physical activity 5 days a week for a total of 30 consecutive days during October and November.

Relevant activities can include walking, fitness classes, cycling, meditation, chair exercises, or other activities that contribute to physical and mental health.

IEHP will also be conducting "30 for 30" project activities at their community health centers located in Riverside, Victorville, and starting from November in San Bernardino, providing the community with opportunities to celebrate this anniversary through exercise, health activities, and gatherings.

IEHP Chief Operating Officer Susie White states:For 30 years, healthcare services centered on compassion have meant listening to our community and finding new ways to reach people where they live. We have expanded the range of services, strengthened the network of healthcare providers, and brought health and well-being resources directly to our communities. This anniversary marks a significant milestone – it allows us to celebrate the achievements we have made together and further solidify our commitment to continuously helping our community towards better health.

IEHP signifies that as it enters a new phase, its mission to 'heal and inspire the human spirit' will continue to guide its work, its vision for the inland empire regions, and 'every decision we make is made with care, placing our partners at the center of all our efforts.'

McNaughton added:We are proud of the achievements we have made along the way, but what this anniversary really focuses on is what we can accomplish together from now on. Every milestone in our 30-year joint commitment represents the lives we have helped, the families we have supported, and the communities that believe in our mission. We would like to thank our partners, service providers, community collaboration organizations, and team members: thank you for being a part of this journey.
