Users will be able to ask their own Robinhood Agents questions regarding a monitored location of interest. This agent will retrieve the latest observation results from SkyFi and provide answers along with images and analysis data, such as the number of cars in a factory parking lot and the date the images were taken.
This connection operates through model context protocols (Model Context Protocol, MCP), which are open standards that allow AI agents to interact directly with external data sources. SkyFi has collaborated with BlackSky, and the latter will serve as the first image provider for the Satellite Intelligence application.
SkyFi Satellite Intelligence What should the application cover?
In the initial stages of launch, this feature will include four types of regular observations of monitored locations associated with the popular trading stock codes surrounding Robinhood.
- Production Watch:As planned, the number of finished vehicles within the assembly plant area is counted weekly, covering both electric vehicle and traditional automobile manufacturers.
- Fulfillment Pulse:Count the number of trucks and trailers in the parking lots of large e-commerce fulfillment centers on a weekly basis.
- AI Buildout Monitor:Compare the construction progress of ultra-large-scale data center parks on a monthly basis, including the land that has been cleared, the area of basic construction, as well as the power supply and cooling infrastructure constructed before the data centers are put into operation.
- Park Attendance Tracker:Monitor the saturation level of parking lots in flagship theme park resorts on a weekly basis.

Fischer added, "Over the past year, we have been working to enable SkyFi to be called by any AI through MCP. As a result, a request is sent directly to the system, and then it returns with images, numbers, and the date of shooting. SkyFi provides the images, analysis, and shooting time. How customers use this information is up to them. Robinhood will be the first place where these workflows appear on a large scale."
How data works
A single satellite observation is a snapshot at a particular point in time, not a real-time image. Each location will be imaged according to a planned schedule. Cloud cover and the availability of satellites mean that the planned shots may not necessarily be successful; if they fail, SkyFi will attempt again on the next opportunity. Each result will include both the planned frequency and the actual date and time of the shot, so customers can see how up-to-date the data is.
Availability
“Satellite Intelligence” will soon be launched as “Robinhood Agent App”, replacing the aforementioned four types of observations. “Robinhood” is responsible for billing and related account terms; additional fees may also be charged.
