St. Louis, October 1st ( GLOBE NEWSWIRE ) – ESCO Technologies Inc. (New York Stock Exchange ticker: ESE) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the business of Megger Group Limited ( Megger ), which is part of TBG AG ( TBG ).

In accordance with the terms of the transaction, TBG has agreed to certain lock-up provisions regarding its holdings of ESCO common equity and possesses the right to nominate one seat on the board of directors for ESCO.

ESCO indicates that the acquisition of Megger will help the company achieve its long-term goal of expanding its leading position in high-growth end markets. Megger, a global leader in testing, monitoring, and data-driven solutions for utilities and critical power infrastructure, will be integrated into the company's Utility Solutions Group business segment.
