WinUI is a native user interface framework developed by Microsoft for Windows application development, responsible for providing windows, controls, layout, and interaction capabilities. Windows App SDK is a software development toolkit provided by Microsoft for Windows application development, used to integrate WinUI, window management, application lifecycle, and other capabilities.
This update mainly introduces the TableView control. As reported by IT on September 16th, Microsoft has integrated the code for the TableView control into the WinUI development branch, thereby completing the functionality of tables in the DataGrid framework to support sorting, filtering, editing, and virtualization, among other features.
This control is used to display multi-line, multi-column data and is suitable for scenarios such as file lists, order records, personnel information, and business reports. This version supports grouping, sorting, filtering, column width adjustment, and tooltips, which can help developers build data-intensive interfaces.
The Chart control is used to convert data into visualizations such as line charts and bar charts. It is commonly used in financial reports, monitoring panels, statistical analysis, and enterprise management software. With the addition of the WinUI 3 to this control, developers can directly build chart interfaces within native applications.
This version also fixes a memory growth vulnerability related to WinUI. Microsoft states that by preventing applications from repeatedly creating visual state storyboards or continuously parsing static and theme resources, the issue of increased memory usage is resolved.

Members of Microsoft's Windows UI team, represented by Chris Anderson, stated that performance, fundamental capabilities, quality, and bug fixing are the top priorities for WinUI.
