Rivian reiterated on Friday its vehicle delivery guidance for 2026 to be between 65,000 and 70,000 units. Previously, the company announced that its delivery volume in the third quarter increased by 46% year-on-year, reaching 19,248 units, which was higher than Wall Street's expectation of 18,000 units. The company stated that the increase in deliveries is related to the ramp-up in production of its entry-level R2 SUV.

Rivian Automotive reiterated its vehicle delivery guidelines for 2026 on Friday. Previously, the company announced that its third-quarter delivery volume increased by 46% year-on-year and exceeded Wall Street's expectations.

This electric vehicle manufacturer stated that it delivered 19,248 units from July to September, which is higher than the 13,201 units delivered during the same period last year. According to the average estimates compiled by FactSet, Wall Street had originally anticipated 18,000 units to be delivered.

Rivian previously raised its vehicle delivery guidance for 2026 earlier this year, and it is currently still maintained between 65,000 and 70,000 units. To achieve this goal, the company's fourth-quarter deliveries need to increase by at least 20.5% compared to the third quarter, reaching 23,193 units.

As delivery volumes grow, the company continues to increase production of the entry-level Rivian R2 SUV. This model was launched earlier this year and is a smaller, more affordable version of its flagship R1 SUV.
