With less than a month to go until the mid-term elections, Kalshi is launching three new features on its election contracts to ensure traders have greater transparency regarding market activity and accuracy.

Firstly, the platform will provide labels to indicate which election markets have low trading volumes. Kalshi defines a market with low trading volume as one with a turnover of less than $10,000. Market forecasting experts warn that prices in markets with low trading volumes can fluctuate significantly, and the bid-ask spread may also widen.

Secondly, the election market for Kalshi itself will display the scores of Brier to measure the accuracy between market probabilities and actual results.

Finally, the platform will also launch an event information stream feature that will display in real-time each individual transaction that occurs within the election contract.

Kalshi decided to provide these transparency features because the company noticed that more traders are participating in local election campaigns rather than national markets. Kalshi, co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour, stated that the mid-term elections will be "the first truly meaningful predictive market election," and pointed out that since the beginning of this year, the growth rate of the platform's election market has been six times that of the football market, and this growth rate is compared to the same period last year.

Internal data from Kalshi shows that the ratio of the number of people watching its mid-term election market to the actual number of traders is 5 to 1.

In July this year, this market forecasting platform launched “Midterms Hub”, which allows anyone to view the trader odds related to the elections of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

Disclosure:CNBC has a business relationship with Kalshi, which includes customer acquisition and a small amount of equity investment.

Just one month after launching its personal AI agency Muse, Meta jointly released a so-called "Personal Agency Agreement" with companies such as Walmart and Stripe, attempting to establish a set of open standards to regulate how AI agencies interact with enterprises. Brett Taylor, co-founder of Sierra who led this initiative, stated that without unified standards, it is difficult for enterprises to determine whether those accessing their services are personal agents representing users or random robots, and the current situation is "to some extent chaotic."
