A secure, centrally managed dashboard application that can bring business data to the TV screens that teams are already using.

Houston, October 7th / PRNewswire / -- Digital Signage Company OptiSigns announced today that it has expanded and enhanced its dashboard application, which can now be used in conjunction with platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, Tableau, Grafana, Databricks, etc. The company provides support for over 200,000 screens worldwide. Enterprises can now display automatically updated real-time dashboards on television screens in offices, factories, and operation centers.

According to the data from HG Insights, companies spend over $70 billion annually on business intelligence software; however, studies from BARC and Eckerson Group find that only about a quarter of employees actively use the BI tools. A meta-analysis published in Psychological Bulletin in 2016, which covered 138 studies, found that monitoring progress helps people achieve their goals, and the effect is even more pronounced when that progress is recorded or shared publicly. Putting dashboards on shared screens often means relying on manual screenshots, leaving account credentials on devices, or publicly releasing sensitive reports.

Using OptiSigns, enterprises only need to connect their dashboard accounts once, select a dashboard, and assign it to one or more screens. This application is compatible with both cloud-based and self-hosted platforms, personal or corporate accounts, as well as any number of teams. In Power BI, a single report can also display data specific to each location. For example, retailers can use the screen filtering feature to manage a report centrally while presenting each store with their own sales data.

The dashboard can be played in a carousel within the playlist, run according to a schedule, or displayed in split-screen mode, just like other OptiSigns contents. Account passwords or long-term keys will not be saved on the screen; this information will be retained and stored securely in encrypted form on the OptiSigns server.

OptiSigns CEO Henry Le said, "When the numbers are displayed on the wall, everyone sees the same image at the same time. The company invested a lot of money in these dashboards, but they were only available on a few laptops. We made it very simple to present this information to the entire team."

The dashboard application is now available in Pro Plus and higher solutions. The starting price for the solution is $10 per screen per month. For more information, please visit optisigns.com.
