News from the IT Home on October 8th: Pony.ai and Uber have announced today that they will test the seventh-generation Robotaxi in London, the hub city with the strongest travel demand in Europe. The tests will begin in the coming weeks.

IT noticed that in March this year, Pony.ai reached a cooperation with Verne and Uber. The three parties will take the lead in launching Europe's first commercial Robotaxi service in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. In August this year, the service was launched in Zagreb, and users can call it by opening Uber.

In May 2025, Pony.ai and Uber announced a strategic partnership. Pony.ai's Robotaxi services and fleets will be integrated into the Uber platform in the second half of the year to jointly accelerate the commercialization of autonomous driving technology.

Xiaoma Intelligence's core businesses include autonomous driving travel services ( Robotaxi ), autonomous driving truck services ( Robotruck ), and intelligent solutions. These services have currently been commercialized in multiple markets such as China, the United States, and Europe. The company aims to expand its autonomous driving taxi fleet to over 3,500 vehicles by the end of 2026, and increase the number of cities with global operations to more than 20. It is expected that the revenue from autonomous driving travel services will reach 3.5 times the level of 2025, and the commercialization process will further accelerate.
