HOUSTON, October 8th / PRNewswire / -- Main Street Capital Corporation (New York Stock Exchange ticker: MAIN) ("Main Street") is pleased to announce the following recent activities in its private lending portfolio. In the third quarter of 2026, Main Street initiated new commitments or increased the total commitments in its private lending portfolio by $157.2 million, and completed investments totaling $162 million at cost within its private lending portfolio.
The following are notable new private lending commitments and investments for the third quarter of 2026:
- Provided a $30 million first-lien senior secured term loan, a $16.9 million first-lien senior secured revolving loan, a $18.8 million first-lien senior secured extended drawdown term loan, and $1.1 million in equity investment to a distributor of medium-voltage cables and accessories;
- Provided a $35.2 million first-lien senior secured term loan, a $6.4 million first-lien senior secured revolving loan, a $12.8 million first-lien senior secured extended drawdown term loan, and $1.6 million in equity investment to a manufacturer's representative and an electric power system integration services provider;
- Provided a first lien senior secured term loan of $17.9 million, a first lien senior secured revolving loan of $5.3 million, and an equity investment of $1.6 million to an industrial mixed equipment manufacturer.
As of September 30, 2026, the total investment of Main Street's private lending portfolio, calculated on a cost basis, amounted to approximately $2.1 billion, distributed across 86 independent companies. Based on cost, 92.6% of this private lending portfolio was invested in senior secured debt with first lien, while 7.4% was invested in equity investments or other securities.
