IT News on October 10th: Luxshare Precision announced tonight that the company and its controlling subsidiaries are involved in an ITC 337 investigation. The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) announced on October 9th local time that it has officially launched a 337 investigation regarding patent infringement claims raised by V-token issuer Corporation.
The announcement mentioned that this investigation involves U.S. patent US10903734, and mainly targets vertical power supply systems (VPD), related components, and computing systems that contain the aforementioned products. Luxshare Precision and its subsidiary, Dongguan Luxshare Technology Co., Ltd., have been listed as the parties under investigation.
According to the public information from ITC, previously, the V-token issuer has launched multiple 337 investigations targeting enterprises in the industrial chain regarding data center power supply technologies. Currently, this investigation is still in its initial stages, and ITC has not yet made any substantive determinations regarding the alleged infringements.
As learned from the announcement, the products involved in this investigation are mainly used in the integration power supply solutions for power modules and processors in the data center field.
In response to the impact of this investigation, Lixun Precision stated that the products involved in the investigation are currently in the customer verification stage and have not yet entered mass production. Based on the current business progress of these products, it is anticipated that this investigation will not have a significant adverse effect on the current production and operations or the financial performance for the period.

At the same time, Lixun Precision also stated that the company has immediately initiated research on the involved patents and related products. They are actively organizing technical, legal, and business teams to develop specific response strategies and work plans, taking into account previous experience in dealing with similar cases. Moving forward, the company will proactively respond to the litigation and continue to advance the analysis of related patent technologies, evaluate product solutions, and make necessary technical optimizations.
