Key Points
- BTC traded at around $81,593, which is higher than its 50-day exponential moving average of $80,878.
- Bitcoin RSI is approaching 47, and MACD is slightly negative, indicating that the momentum for a rebound is still weak.
- The resistance level above BTC is at $85,000, while deeper support levels are at $77,528 and $76,186.
After testing at the support level, the prices of cryptocurrencies tend to stabilize.
On Friday, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP saw a slight increase, with the pullback from the previous trading day pushing all three assets to important technical support levels.
Bitcoin is holding near its 50-day exponential moving average, Ethereum has found support near its 100-day exponential moving average, while XRP remains supported at around $1.300.
A mild rebound indicates that buying interest is still active around these levels. However, the rebound still depends on whether the support levels can be held; if these areas are broken below by clear daily closes, it could open up space for a deeper correction.
Bitcoin holds above the 50-day exponential moving average
On Friday, Bitcoin traded below $81,856, but still above its 50-day exponential moving average of $80,878.
Holding this moving average, despite recent consolidation, there is still a relatively positive technical backdrop. The 100-day exponential moving average of $77,528 and the 200-day exponential moving average of $76,186 are also below the current price, providing additional support for the broader trend.
The momentum indicator does not provide a strong signal sufficient to support an immediate rise. The Relative Strength Index is close to 46, slightly below the neutral threshold of 50, indicating that buyers have not yet established clear control. At the same time, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator is still slightly negative.
Overall, these readings indicate that the market is more likely to be stabilizing rather than having confirmed a bullish reversal. The first major upward resistance level is around $85,000, and previous selling pressure may limit any attempt at a rebound.
If we can continue to make progress at this level, it will test whether buyers can continue to drive the market upward on top of the rebound on Friday. To transform the current support level into a more sustained upward trend, we need even stronger momentum.

Before that, Bitcoin may still continue to consolidate, as buyers at lower levels are competing with selling pressure from above.
On the downside, the 50-day exponential moving average of $80,878 remains the most critical level to watch. If the daily chart closes clearly below this level, it will weaken the current rebound structure and bring the 100-day exponential moving average of $77,528 into focus. Further declines could potentially expose the 200-day exponential moving average of $76,186.
