mF and International will cease traditional financial trading services and fully shift to a digital assets strategy

This strategic decision enables the company to devote all its efforts to its growing business model centered around digital assets.

mF International indicates that as of October 15, 2026, the company held 678,922 Bitcoin cash (BCH).

Hong Kong, October 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- mF International Limited (Nasdaq ticker: MFI, referred to as “mF International” or “the Company”) announced today that its board of directors has approved the gradual closure and dissolution of the company's traditional financial trading solutions business. The Company stated that after the closure is completed, it will focus all of its efforts and resources on the development of its Bitcoin Cash (BCH) digital asset reserves, its own mining operations, and other digital asset businesses.

The company stated that this decision was made following a series of initiatives taken since the beginning of 2026 to establish its digital asset business, and it marks an important milestone in the evolution of the mF International business model plan. Notable initiatives in the digital asset business include: the company building its own mining capacity for BCH, as well as continuously applying for a Bermuda IILT Class 1 insurance license to support the future launch of life insurance products denominated in digital assets. The company noted that as the digital asset business is gradually established and continues to gain importance, management believes that prioritizing the development of these businesses is the most effective way to promote long-term growth.

The company stated that its own mining business, denoted as BCH, continues to grow. From July 30, 2026, to September 30, 2026, the company mined a total of 2,265.42 units of BCH. As of October 15, 2026, the company holds 678,922 units of BCH, which accounts for approximately 3.23% of the total supply.

The closure of the traditional financial transaction solutions business will include the cancellation of m- Finance Limited and its two subsidiaries, Omegatraders Systems Limited and m- Finance Trading Technologies Limited (collectively referred to as "Traditional Business Companies"), as well as the disposition of their remaining assets. The company expects to complete the sale of these remaining traditional fixed assets and domains by the end of October 2026. Asset disposal, liquidation costs, and final taxes will be reflected in the final audited accounts of these three companies as of December 15, 2026, after which their accounting records will not undergo any further changes. mF and International indicate that the full financial impact of these matters on the company will be reflected in the audited consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026.

mF International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dawei Yuan stated: "Closing our traditional financial trading business is a prudent decision made against the backdrop of our company's digital asset business already being established and its importance to the company continuously increasing. By focusing our attention and resources on the digital asset strategy, we expect to be better able to expand our own mining business, increase BCH reserves, and advance our planned digital asset-denominated life insurance products. This decision reflects the direction we have been pursuing since the beginning of 2026, and we believe it will put the company on a clearer and more focused path of development. As we continue to build mF International into a native digital asset business company, we look forward to updating shareholders on progress."

The company stated that it will continue to update information regarding its BCH holdings, mining operations, and new business developments through its official website https :// mfi.ltd as well as its investor relations website https :// ir.mfi.ltd.
